After leaving London, we travel to Windsor renowned for Windsor Castle dating back to medieval times. This castle has a long association with the Britiish Royal Family and is believed to be a favourite of Her Majesty the Queen. The original castle was built by William the Conqueror. The tour will also take you around the Windsor Great Park with its 1000 acres of woodland, lakes and gardens. We will have ample time in Windsor and you will learn much of its history.
After a break, we will then go onto Hampton Court Palace originally home to Henry VIII. It has not been inhabited continuously by the British Royal Family since the 18th century.
