Our Oxford tour again starts in London. Oxford is known as The City of Dreaming Spires. For over 800 years, it has been a home to royalty and scholars. It has also been used in numerous films and TV dramas including Morse. Nowadays, the city is a bustling cosmopolitan town. Still with its ancient University, but home also to a growing hi-tech community. There is a lot to take in whether it is visiting one of the many historic buildings, colleges or museums, or taking a stroll along the River Thames. Lunch can be taken in one of the many old pubs or restaurants in Oxford.
